Breezy integration

How you can use TestGorilla assessments within the Breezy ATS

You can connect TestGorilla to your Breezy account, allowing you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the summarized results inside Breezy. This article explains how that works. The Breezy integration is available on the Pro plan and can be enabled by users with Admin or Owner access.

Please check with Breezy regarding the plan and access level needed on their side to make this work.

Turn on the integration

The integration between Breezy and TestGorilla is turned on from inside your TestGorilla account.

Connect the integration

You must be a TestGorilla Admin or Owner to be able to complete this step.

From within the TestGorilla application:

Click your name in the top right corner of the browser and select the Integrations option from the drop-down menu.
Click the Enable button on the Breezy integration.

Click Copy API key to save it to your clipboard, before heading into your Breezy account to continue the setup.

 

Configure the integration

You’ll need to check with Bullhorn to ensure you have the right plan and access level to be able to continue with this step.

From inside of your Breezy account:

Click the gear icon at the top of the left sidebar.

In the dropdown that appears, hover over Recruiting Preferences and select Assessments.

On the page that appears, Locate TestGorilla and click Settings.

Paste your API key into the text box that appears and click Save changes.

 

Use the integration

After you connect and configure the integration, you can proceed to invite your candidates and review their results within the Breezy platform. You'll need to create a new assessment to do this — assessments made prior to turning on the integration will not work.

Invite candidates

Applicants will be invited to an assessment through TestGorilla by clicking a few buttons inside of Breezy. In order to ensure that your candidate receives an email invitation to complete the appropriate assessment, follow the below steps:

Within Breezy, select Candidates from the left side panel.

Choose a candidate from the candidate table that appears. You’ll be navigated to the candidate’s record.

Select the More tab on the left side of the page and choose Assessments from the dropdown menu.

Click the blue Send Assessment button. A popup will display.

Choose the required assessment from the dropdown list that displays.

Click Send. An invitation will be sent to the candidate from TestGorilla.

 

Status update tags

To report on the candidate’s progress through the hiring journey, TestGorilla automatically updates the status for each candidate.

TestGorilla status How it appears in Breezy
Invited A box containing assessment information will appear under the Assessments header. Expanding the box will tell you “{Candidate name} hasn’t completed this assessment yet."
Started A box containing assessment information will appear under the Assessments header. Expanding the box will tell you “{Candidate name} has started the assessment.”
Complete A box containing assessment information will appear under the Assessments header. A green Complete tag will appear.

 

Review results

When the candidate has completed the assessment, a results summary will be available in Breezy. 

In the candidate’s profile, click the More dropdown and select Assessments.
Click the box containing the correct assessment. It will expand to display a summary of results.

Click View Full Report to see the full results in your TestGorilla account.

 

Disable the integration

If you decide to switch ATS platforms or for some other reason no longer want to use the integration with Breezy, the TestGorilla account owner can disable the integration.

In TestGorilla, click your name in the top right corner of the browser and select the Integrations option from the drop-down menu.

Click the Disable button on the Breezy integration.

Hit the Disable button on the popup that appears asking you to confirm your choice.

 

Common questions

Why aren’t my TestGorilla assessments appearing in Breezy?
ATS integrations will only recognize assessments created after the integration was enabled. You will need to create a new assessment to send via Breezy. Additionally, you will only be able to send each assessment once. If you’ve already sent the assessment to the candidate in question, it will not show up on the assessment selection screen.

Why doesn’t the Integrations tab appear in my user menu?
Because integrations can only be enabled or disabled by the Account owner or an Admin, the tab is only available to those users.
