How you can use TestGorilla assessments with the Bullhorn ATS
You can connect TestGorilla to your Bullhorn account, allowing you to invite candidates to an assessment and see the summarized results inside Bullhorn. This article explains how that works. The Bullhorn integration is available on the Pro plan and can be enabled by users with Admin or Owner access.
Please check with Bullhorn regarding the plan and access level needed on their side to make this work. |

At this point, all new TestGorilla assessments will be available from within Bullhorn. Assessments made prior to activating the integration will not be available.
Use the integration
After you connect and configure the integration, you can proceed to invite your candidates and review their results within the Bullhorn platform. You'll need to create a new assessment to do this — assessments made prior to turning on the integration will not work.
Invite candidates
Applicants will be invited to an assessment through TestGorilla by clicking a few buttons inside Bullhorn. In order to ensure that your candidate receives an email invitation to complete the appropriate assessment, follow the below steps:
Within Bullhorn, select Menu found on the left side of the screen.
From the menu that appears, choose Candidates.
Once the candidate list loads, select the name of the appropriate candidate. This will load the details of that candidate.
Find the TestGorilla Custom Tab - it will have the name that was given during the configuration step above.
In the dropdown menu, select the name of the assessment that you’d like to invite the candidate to take.
Click the Send Assessment button to send the invitation. |
Status update tags
To report on the candidate’s progress through the hiring journey, TestGorilla automatically assigns a status tag to each candidate:
Status | Meaning |
Acknowledged | The invitation from TestGorilla was sent |
In progress | The candidate has successfully started the assessment |
Completed | The candidate has successfully completed the assessment |
Review results
The candidate results will be shared on the same screen, above the status, once the assessment has been completed. Included is:
- An overall summary of their results (score out of 100)
- A link to their candidate page in TestGorilla
To view the full results, click Open to load the TestGorilla candidate results inside the Bullhorn platform.
Disable the integration
If you decide to switch ATS platforms or for some other reason no longer want to use the integration with Bullhorn, the TestGorilla account owner can disable the integration.
In TestGorilla, click your name in the top right corner of the browser and select the Integrations option from the drop-down menu.
Click the Disable button on the Bullhorn integration.
Hit the Disable button on the popup that appears asking you to confirm your choice. |
