🔌 Connect your ATS
Connecting your applicant-tracking system (ATS) keeps your jobs, candidates, and assessment results automatically in sync. Once connected, you can manage everything from a single place without switching tools.
Why connect your ATS:
It saves time and reduces manual work. When TestGorilla and your ATS talk to each other, new candidates and results flow in automatically, with no copy-pasting or file uploads. You’ll always have the latest hiring data in one view.
What syncs:
Jobs and candidates
Assessment statuses and results
Hiring stages (where supported)
How to connect:
Go to Integrations from your User menu.
Find your ATS in the list.
Click the toggle or gear icon to open the setup window.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the connection. Each integration also provides a Help Center guide with detailed steps for that specific ATS, such as where to paste your TestGorilla API key or authenticate your account.
Return to the Integrations tab once finished to confirm the connection.

Tip: Once connected, your integration will show a purple check mark and gear icon. You can manage or disconnect integrations anytime from the Integrations tab. Only Account Owners and Admins can manage these settings. ATS integrations are available on the Plus plan. |

🧩 Use the TestGorilla API (advanced)
For companies with their own systems or custom workflows, the TestGorilla API provides more flexibility. API access is available to Plus and External Recruitment customers.
Why use the API:
It’s the fastest way to build deeper automation around your hiring data. The API lets you connect TestGorilla directly to your internal platforms, so you can send invites, fetch results, and track performance without ever logging into multiple tools.
What you can do:
Automate candidate invitations or create public links.
Retrieve results, including PDFs, directly into your system.
Sync assessment data with your ATS or HRIS.
When to use:
If your ATS isn’t supported or you want deeper automation between TestGorilla and your internal tools.

Common questions
Do I need technical skills to connect an ATS?
When you enable an integration, TestGorilla opens a pop-up with your API key and a link to a step-by-step Help Center article for that ATS. Just follow the instructions—no coding required. Each guide shows where to paste the API key and how to complete authentication in your ATS.
Will ATS invitations use up credits?
No. Sending an invite doesn’t consume credits. Credits are used when a candidate starts an assessment.
