Logging in to TestGorilla with Microsoft SSO

Learn how to securely log in to TestGorilla using your Microsoft 365 or Entra ID (Azure AD) credentials.

With Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO), you can authenticate through your company’s Microsoft account instead of managing a separate TestGorilla password. This improves security, simplifies access, and helps your organization meet enterprise IT requirements with ease. This feature is available on every TestGorilla plan, including Free.

What is Microsoft SSO?

Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) allows you to log in to TestGorilla using your Microsoft 365 or Entra ID (Azure AD) account. It replaces password-based authentication with a secure connection to your organization’s identity provider using SAML 2.0 or OIDC.

The benefits of using Microsoft SSO include:

  • Stronger enterprise-grade security
  • No more password resets or duplicate credentials
  • Faster onboarding for IT-managed companies
  • Meets enterprise security and compliance requirements
Note: Microsoft SSO is available on every TestGorilla plan — even Free!

Who can use Microsoft SSO?

Microsoft SSO is available to all TestGorilla customers, including those on the Free plan.

New users and existing users Can sign up or log in directly using a Microsoft 365 or Entra ID (Azure AD) account.
Candidates Continue to log in using their unique email links — Microsoft SSO does not change the candidate experience.

Personal Microsoft accounts (for example, @outlook.com or @hotmail.com) may work technically but aren’t supported for setting up TestGorilla client accounts.

Common questions

Is Microsoft SSO available on my plan?

Yes! Microsoft SSO is available on all TestGorilla plans, including Free.

Do I need IT to set it up?

No. Microsoft SSO setup is fully self-service within your TestGorilla account. Admins can enable it in minutes, with no file exchange or manual configuration.

Can I still log in with email and password?

Yes, if you haven’t switched to Microsoft SSO, you can continue using your email and password to log in. Once your organization enables Microsoft SSO, you’ll need to log in with your Microsoft account instead. Password login will no longer be available for those users.

Can I disable Microsoft SSO after enabling it?

No. For security reasons, once Microsoft SSO is enabled, password-based login cannot be restored. All users will sign in using Microsoft credentials going forward.

Does this affect candidates taking assessments?

No. Candidates continue to use their unique assessment links.

What if I can’t sign in with Microsoft?

Ensure your email is part of your company’s Microsoft Entra directory. If you still can’t log in, contact your IT admin or reach out to TestGorilla Support.
