1. AI resume scoring - new evaluation tool
What’s new?
A brand-new evaluation tool to screen candidate resumes efficiently and objectively. Built with TestGorilla’s AI, it scores resumes against criteria derived directly from the job description, replacing manual reviews and keyword-based filters.
Why it matters
- Automates resume evaluation with transparent, explainable scoring.
- Highlights top candidates by role fit, reducing manual screening effort.
- Promotes fairer, skills-first filtering beyond ATS keyword matching.
2. Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO)
What’s new?
Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO) is now available for all new TestGorilla accounts. Users can log in via Microsoft Entra ID — no passwords needed.
Why it matters
- Offers a secure, enterprise-ready login experience.
- Available across all plans, including the Free plan.
3. Source job seekers straight from their inbox
What’s new?
We’ve redesigned how recruiters invite job seekers through Sourcing. The new Invite Flow streamlines communication and tracking, while job seekers now see all invites in a dedicated Inbox within their TG profile.
For recruiters
- A guided flow replaces manual email sending.
- Job details (title, description, salary, etc.) are editable before sending.
- Track invitation status: Sent, Read, Accepted, or Not interested.
For job seekers
- Invitations now appear in a unified inbox within their TG profile.
- Each invite includes job info and a clear call to action.
- Job seekers can accept, decline, or message recruiters directly.
Why it matters
- Reduces manual errors and ensures essential job details are included.
- Improves job seeker experience with clear, consistent invites.
- Gives recruiters full visibility into engagement and outcomes.
4. AI job builder improvements
What’s new?
We’ve simplified Step 1 of the setup flow by removing two unnecessary fields — Work arrangement and Job role location. The experience is now cleaner and faster, with no impact on functionality.
Why it matters
- Reduces clutter and simplifies the initial setup process.
- Maintains full functionality while improving visual clarity.
- Part of a broader initiative to make the Job Builder more intuitive.
5. Clearer 'share results' setting
What’s new?
We’ve clarified the 'Show results to candidates' toggle in Step 4 of the evaluation builder. The new text now clearly indicates that it controls result visibility, not profile creation.
Why it matters
- Gives recruiters the option to share assessment results with candidates
- Eliminates confusion about what the setting does.
- Ensures recruiters understand that candidates can always create profiles.
- Improves transparency in candidate experience and privacy handling.
6. Bulk export: download results from multiple assessments
What’s new?
A new Bulk Export feature in the Analytics section lets users view and download results from multiple assessments at once, with the same customization options as existing CSV/Excel exports.
Why it matters
- Eliminates the need to repeatedly export individual reports.
- Improves reporting and offline analytics workflows.
- Saves time for large teams managing multiple assessments.
What’s coming up?
Next month’s focus will include:
- ID verification for candidates before the assessment starts.
- Built-in integrity system combining ID checks and behavior monitoring to keep every assessment fair, defensible, and candidate-friendly.
- Continued improvements to the AI evaluation suite for transparency and reliability.
