1. AI-scoring of video custom questions 🎥🤖

What’s new?

You can now automatically score video custom questions with AI, the same way as essay questions.

  • Ready-to-use library: 6 pre-built auto-scored video questions.
  • Custom-made: create your own auto-scored video questions.
  • Auto-scoring criteria: AI generates a skills-based scoring rubric, which you can edit.
  • Evaluation: view raw and percentile scores for each video question, with sub-scores by criterion. All scores contribute to the overall raw and percentile result.
  • Transcript-based scoring: scoring is based on the video transcript (not tone, gestures, or pronunciation).

Why it matters

  • Faster, consistent scoring for video answers without manual review.
  • Editable and transparent AI scores keep you in control.
  • Same fairness safeguards as AI-scored essay questions.

🔦 Customer feedback spotlight:

"The ability to automatically grade written and verbal questions with AI is critical for us. We handle thousands of candidates in a single hiring cycle, and manual review was simply not scalable."
— HR director, global BPO provider

"Our biggest bottleneck was review time. Having video responses transcribed and auto-scored removes weeks of effort and gives us scores we can trust at scale."
— Talent acquisition lead, outsourcing firm

This landmark launch will help heavy-volume customers save significant amounts of time while ensuring their scoring is more consistent and fair.

2. Strengthened honesty agreement 🔐

What’s new?

The Honesty agreement, signed by all candidates before starting an assessment, has been updated with clearer language and stronger anti-cheating warnings.

Why it matters

  • Acts as a deterrent by informing candidates that their activity is monitored.
  • Explicitly lists behaviors that can trigger flags (e.g., switching tabs, using AI tools, or external help).
  • Warns that repeated dishonest behavior may reduce candidate visibility in TestGorilla Sourcing.

3. Behavior log exports 📊

What’s new?

Candidate behavior log data is now included in CSV, Excel, and PDF result exports, aligned with what you see on the platform.

Why it matters

  • Exports now match on-platform data.
  • Saves time cross-checking reports.
  • Provides complete records for internal reviews and compliance.

🔦 Customer feedback spotlight:

"In this AI era, we need to know exactly how and when a candidate triggered anti-cheating flags. Having that data in exports makes it easier to review and act internally."
— Head of compliance, IT services company

"We always had to cross-check the platform manually. Now with behavior logs in the exports, everything we need is in one place for audit and manager reviews."
— Recruiting operations manager, md-market SaaS

This update gives hiring teams clearer visibility into candidate behavior and makes exports a complete, audit-ready record.

What’s coming up? 🌟
