Introducing the remote job board (Beta)

Increase your talent pool, and find top talent.

TestGorilla's remote job board allows you to quickly and efficiently create job postings to have early access to thousands of talented candidates who are actively seeking their next job and are vetted for their skills. Our job board matches candidates based on their skills, rather than just their resumes. This article is relevant to all TestGorilla account users

Please note: Our job board is in Beta. We are allowing a select group of customers to try out and provide feedback before the final release. This helps identify any remaining issues or improvements needed based on real-world use.

Why use the remote job board?

Our platform receives over 2 million views each month, providing excellent visibility for your job postings. Candidates who take assessments through TestGorilla actively seek new roles, meaning they're ready and eager to join your team. Our job board is designed to seamlessly connect you with candidates whose skills have been verified through our rigorous testing process.

The best part? It's completely free (at least for now!). All we ask in return is your valuable feedback. We're committed to making this the best possible platform for you, and your insights will be instrumental in helping us achieve that goal.

Creating a job posting

To start using the job board, simply log in to your account, click on the Jobs tab, and select Post a job.

Click Submit your remote job to begin creating your job post.

On the next few screens, select whether the job position is for a software-related role and whether it is for a remote role.

Note: At this stage, we’re only listing hybrid and remote jobs on the board. This will change in the future, but for now, we’re focusing on testing with remote roles.

Enter the assessment name or link that you want to use for this job. For more information on using public links, please click here.

On the next few screens, you will be asked to enter several details about the job role.

These include:

  • The title of the job role
  • Which country the job will be located in
  • The remote work policy for the job (Hybrid or Remote)
  • The estimated annual salary for the role (in USD)
  • Write or paste a job description

You are done! Before clicking Submit, choose whether you would like to join our customer feedback community. We are always looking to improve and value your input greatly.

Alternatively, you can also create a job posting from within the TestGorilla platform itself.

If you have created an assessment that is both in English and has a work arrangement of Remote:

  • Click on Post to TG job board from within the assessment overview. Follow our instructions from step 2 onwards to complete your job posting.

OR

  • Click on the assessment settings in the top right corner of the assessment overview screen and click on Post to TG job board. Follow our instructions from step 2 onwards to complete your job posting.

Common questions

What is a beta test?

A beta test is when a nearly finished product is given to a select group of users (you!) to try out and provide feedback before its final release. This helps identify any remaining issues or improvements needed based on real-world use.

Why are you creating this job board?

Our research and customer feedback highlight a key challenge: finding quality candidates. We're here to help with our job board. With over 2 million monthly website visitors, we're committed to expanding your talent pool and connecting you with top candidates.

Can anyone post a job? Who can use the job board?

At present, only TestGorilla customers have the opportunity to submit their jobs to the job board.

Can anyone apply for my job? Who can use/access the job board?

Yes! Our website has over 2 million monthly views with thousands of talented candidates visiting to learn more about our product, and potential jobs and to learn about talent assessment.

Where are the candidates coming from?

TestGorilla’s website receives millions of views each month, and most of them are candidates looking to explore the platform. Further, our research around skills-based hiring has proven that candidates value skills tests and are willing to commit the time to showcase their skills.

What is the exposure of my candidates to this job board when they take an assessment?

Your jobs are only shared with candidates that meet the following criteria:

  • Candidates who apply for jobs directly from the job board
  • Candidates from free customers
  • Candidates who applied for jobs at TestGorilla

This initiative is designed to benefit everyone by connecting companies with more suitable candidates and offering job seekers relevant alternative opportunities. We want to improve your recruitment outcomes and enhance employer brand loyalty without undercutting your investment in talent acquisition.

Will I know which candidates were sourced from the TG job board?

Yes! The candidates from the job board will be noted as coming from the TestGorilla job board on the candidate overview page.

My problem is I have too many candidates.

A great problem to have! We suggest you post at least one job on our board. It's free and a chance to be part of something new. Our platform is designed for high volumes. We receive thousands of applications, making it easy for you to select the most promising candidates. You might be surprised what stellar hidden talent you are missing out on!

Why do you only focus on remote roles?

Using insights from candidate research, we believe this is the future of work and something candidates value.

I don't recruit for remote roles.

At this stage, we’re only listing hybrid and remote jobs on the board. This will change in the future, but for now, we’re focusing on testing with remote roles. We believe this is the future of work and something candidates also really want.

Will this cost me anything?

Not at all! While we’re beta testing this new feature, we’re hoping to get customer feedback while giving their job exposure in exchange.

How long will this remain free?

Our focus is currently on the testing phase of our beta version and on getting feedback from our customers. As such, we do not have a set timeline for the free version.

What value will I get?

Our job board helps boost your employer brand by showcasing your company's values, culture, and benefits. This attracts talent that resonates with your mission and vision. With over 2 million monthly visitors, we're dedicated to helping you grow your talent pool.

I don’t want to submit my job.

The job board is only a beta test and participation is completely optional, but it would be very little effort on your part to submit your job. You only need to link us to an existing job listing and approve the job post via email once we’ve loaded it.

This will impede my existing recruitment efforts.

The beta test is optional, and if you choose not to take part, your jobs won’t be linked to the board. We do, however, suggest you list at least one job to see how it works and give us your input.

Can I revoke a listing if I change my mind?

Yes, you can do that! We’re happy to remove your listing on your request, but we would ask for feedback to help us get some insight into your experience.

I want to hire for remote roles within a specific location (US, EMEA, LATAM, etc.)

Yes, you can! We offer remote listing options within specific regions or countries.

Will the job board be integrated with my ATS?

Not yet! This beta test is an exploratory roll-out to gather feedback from our customers. If you participate in the beta test and would like the job board to be integrated with your ATS, please let us know!
